ScuffMaster Leather Dye - SANDSTORM

SCUFFmaster dyes are concentrated, water-based dyes with a built-in sealant which are easy to apply and safe to use. Designed to be diluted with tap water although they can be used undiluted if necessary, they require no separate top coat sealant, are permanent and will not transfer to wet or dry clothing. Use SCUFFmaster dyes to repair scratches, minor cuts, scuffs, colour rub off, creases and cracks.

Whatever the leather article to be touched up, we advise that in every case, all the leather is thoroughly cleaned first or else the water-based dye will absorb the dirt and change colour. Use GT12 Intensive Cleaner to clean, then GT11 Leather Conditioner to soften. Clean again with GT12 and wipe with GT14 Solvent Cleaner. Try to remove old colour if leather has previously been recoloured, then clean as above. Stir well and apply dye with sponge, paintpad, mini roller or brush. To spray, filter dye and then dilute with up to 20% water. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly. Leave 24-hours before using seats.

SCUFFmaster dyes have a shelf-life of about three years if kept cool and frost free, however once diluted with water, the shelf-life drops to about five weeks.
